For young New Zealand entrepreneurs listing on YoungSprouts.nz
What you're agreeing to
- Your listing details must be accurate and up to date.
- Your contact email is never shown publicly. All buyer enquiries go through our team first.
- You may include links to your website, Facebook, or Instagram — but anything you share publicly can be seen by anyone.
- Do not include phone numbers in your listing.
- You can request edits or removal at any time using your reference number.
- We may remove listings that break our rules or don't meet our standards.
- We don't process payments — buying and selling happens directly between you and buyers.
- We don't get involved in disputes — those are between the parties involved.
- Abusive behaviour will result in your listing being removed without notice.
- If you're under 18, a parent or caregiver must agree to this on your behalf.
1 About this agreement
This agreement is between you (the listing applicant or, where the applicant is under 18, their parent or guardian) and YoungSprouts.nz ("we", "us", "the platform"). By submitting a listing application and checking the agreement box, you accept these terms in full.
2 Eligibility
- Listings are intended for young New Zealand entrepreneurs (typically under 25).
- Applicants under 18 must have the knowledge and consent of a parent or caregiver, who accepts this agreement on their behalf.
- You must have the right to sell or promote the products or services described in your listing.
3 Accuracy of information
- All information you submit must be truthful and accurate.
- You must not submit content that is misleading, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
- You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date.
4 Images and content
- By uploading images, you confirm you own them or have permission to use them, and you grant YoungSprouts.nz a licence to display them on the platform.
- Images must not contain personal information, inappropriate content, or copyrighted material you don't have rights to.
- We reserve the right to remove or replace images that do not meet our standards.
5 Privacy and contact details
- Your contact email address is never displayed publicly on the platform.
- All buyer enquiries are reviewed and moderated by our team before being forwarded to you.
- You may include links to your website, Facebook, or Instagram in your listing description. If you do, those links are visible to all visitors.
- Do not include phone numbers in your listing. Listings containing phone numbers will be edited or removed.
- Your personal information is held securely and used only for listing administration and moderation.
6 Moderation and removal
- All listing applications are reviewed by our team before being published.
- We reserve the right to suspend or remove any listing at any time if it breaches this agreement.
- You may request the removal or editing of your listing at any time via the Edit / Remove page.
7 Payments, transactions and disputes
- YoungSprouts.nz is a showcase and directory platform only. We do not facilitate, process, or take responsibility for any payments or transactions.
- Any sales, agreements, or disputes are entirely between those parties. YoungSprouts.nz has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, the outcome of any transaction.
- We will not mediate, investigate, or adjudicate disputes between buyers and vendors.
8 Behaviour and conduct
- All users are expected to behave respectfully and in good faith at all times.
- Abusive, threatening, harassing, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal of listings and/or access, without notice.
- You must not use the platform to send unsolicited messages, spam, or offensive content.
9 Limitation of liability
YoungSprouts.nz provides this platform on a good-faith basis and does not guarantee any particular outcome for vendors. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from use of the platform.
10 Changes to this agreement
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will notify listed vendors by email. Continued use of a listing following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
